You may have heard of the late Grumpy cat who took over the internet with his adorable face and funny memes. But if you’re a dog owner, you are probably looking for his dog counterpart. Well, we have good news for you; we have finally found him!
Meet the grumpiest dog of all, Chester. Chester is basically a dog with a permanently cranky face. He looked so cranky all the time regardless of what he’s doing and who he is with.
He would look crabby even while holding his favorite toy, or while lounging on his favorite bed, or even while playing with his favorite human! If you can relate, then Chester is probably your spirit animal.
This grumpy pooch is actually a Shiba Inu adopted from Nebraska Humane Society located in Omaha. Chester was about ten years old when he was rescued by his current owner, Kirby Kaufman back in July 2017. The pooch will now turn thirteen in September.
This meant that he would be around 65 years old in human years! Well, that kind of explains why he looks so grumpy all the time.
When Kirby got Chester, his friend flooded him with questions of why the pooch always looked angry. Some of his friends even called Chester a fox and a demon dog. Kirby just told them that Chester was a typical Shiba Inu with a grumpy core.
But as it turns out, the adorable pup was not that crabby at all. He is still a simple pooch who adores pizza and nuggets. He also enjoys being petted and loves clinging onto Kirby every time he is at home.
Kirby even mentioned that Chester was a total drama queen in their house. Well, with that kind of face, who could not give in to his requests? Look at how adorably grumpy this little guy is!
