Cynthia and her boyfriend are both adventurers. They both love hiking and exploring mountain peaks. It has always been that way. Things didn’t change much even after they added a new family member to their team – a dog whom they named Henry.

Henry

The couple adopted Henry way back in 2014. Cynthia recalled that they planned on adopting a golden retriever mix, but fell in love almost immediately at the sight of Henry. She knew Henry was the perfect match when the dog jumped on to her lap the very first time they met. The 14-week-old Henry then was already too big for his age, but this didn’t matter to Cynthia and her boyfriend.

Henry warmed up to his new family almost immediately. In fact, a few days after his adoption, the couple took him for a hike. The overly excited dog took the challenge and successfully made it to the top with his new foster parents. To his parents’ surprise, he even went to the tallest standing rock on top of the mountain to take a peek at the view below them. Since then, Henry has been referred to as the couple’s mountain goat.

Baloo

But Henry isn’t the only pet who is fascinating. Just recently, the couple decided to add another family member. They soon adopted a Siamese kitten, whom they named Baloo.

It’s common knowledge that dogs and cats aren’t the best of friends. But Henry begs to differ. In fact, when he was first introduced to Baloo, he immediately warmed up to the kitten. It didn’t take long before the duo became best friends and almost inseparable.

Hiking buddies

Baloo may be a cat, but he doesn’t like being left out. Whenever the couple tries to leave out Baloo, he screams at the door. Ever since the couple noticed this behavior, they have taken Baloo out on hikes, together with his best friend, Henry.
