Eclipse is a black labrador who loves to play. She wants nothing more than to be able to run around and meet new friends at the park.

When her owner, Jeff Young, one day took too long to get to the bus stop, Eclipse was too impatient as she didn’t want to miss playtime at the park, so she ran ahead and got on the bus herself.

The bus driver recognized Eclipse and dropped her off the park.

Jeff eventually caught up with her at the park. To his surprise, Eclipse was more than eager to ride the bus alone so that she won’t miss valuable playtime!

Even the passengers are happy to see such an excited dog on the bus.

Several trips later, Jeff finds out that Eclipse is more than capable of taking the bus to the park on her own, so he started to let her go on her own. Every time, after playing for hours on end, Eclipse would wait at the bus stop for a ride back home.

This has been a routine for Eclipse that Jeff went on to attach a bus pass to her collar for her daily ride.

The bus drivers already know the familiar sight of Eclipse at the bus stop, and they are more than happy to give her a ride.

Even the local police have given their approval to Eclipse’s routine for as long as the bus drivers are okay with it.

And what do the bus drivers have to say about it? Well, let’s just say they have never been happier to take the eager pup on a ride to the park.

After all, she makes everyone, including the passengers, smile with her presence.

A Facebook page was even put up dedicated to her called “Eclipse Seattle’s Bus Riding Dog.” which has been followed by more than 44,000 people.

What a smart and independent dog!
