Thor’s life was never always easy. He once found alone and lost on the streets of Mexico and was believed to be wandering around for many, long months. He was paralyzed, infected, had wounds all over his body and was so hungry.

A woman named Eva who saw him in his worst condition called for help. Luckily, a dog rescue team called The REAL Bark from Los Angeles was there to help.

Thor was strong enough to endure all of these conditions. He also proved that if he faced them, he could overcome them. Having the strong will to live, he survived and even avoided euthanasia. Later on, he got admitted at California Animal Rehabilitation (CARE) in Santa Monica.

Along with his doctors and helpers, Thor started to fight. He disciplined himself by walking even though only her two front legs work. Dr. Jessica Waldman of CARE gave Thor artificial legs in the form of wheels for him to walk quickly and with less pain. She also assured that they would get him to walk again.

Thor once featured on the Huffington Post and Buzzfeed & Upworthy, and with that, he gained a lot of supporters due to his continuous fighting.

For over a year, he made his legs strong again by swimming and stretching. Then one day, after a few long moments of therapy, Thor is finally able to walk and run again freely. His tail, which once became dead paralyzed is now playfully waggling to everyone.

Thor’s story spread all over the world. He became an inspiration to many people with his determination and never-ending will to live. He may be once in an awful condition, but he strives to live again and overcome his painful past.

Thor also became a reminder never to give up. If a dog can survive and live again despite its past, you can, too.
